Lori Maehara

As the Kapiʻolani Community College Culinary Arts program counselor, Lori Maehara works with students from pre-enrollment through graduation. Prior to joining KCC, she served as the director of catering & convention services at Hyatt Regency Waikīkī. She assists students with registration, graduation progress tracking and accessing campus resources, and coordinates the annual awarding of over $80,000 in KCC Culinary Arts student scholarships. Currently, she is a member of the General Education Committee, the Panel of Referees, and serves as the Business, Hospitality & Culinary Arts representative on the Counseling and Academic Advising Council assessment committee.
