Alan T. Tsuchiyama

Alan Tsuchiyama is a professor and chef instructor in the Culinary Arts program at Kapiʻolani Community College. He is a Kapiʻolani Community College alumnus and has been a faculty member for more than 20 years. His teaching focuses on culinary arts training, including practical cooking techniques, kitchen fundamentals and student-run dining experiences such as Ka ‘Ikena Laua‘e. He has also coached Kapiʻolani culinary students in competition settings and contributed to high-profile culinary events representing the Culinary Institute of the Pacific and UH Community Colleges.
